Built a full-stack e-commerce site for a Kenyan gold-plated jewellery brand, handling product listings, cart, checkout, and order management end-to-end. Implemented Pesapal v3 payment integration for M-Pesa and card payments with IPN webhook handling for asynchronous payment confirmation.
Engineered a dual cart system supporting both guest (session-backed) and authenticated (DB-backed) users with automatic cart merging on login. Deployed on cPanel shared hosting with LiteSpeed WSGI, protected behind Cloudflare for DDoS protection, CDN acceleration, and SSL termination.
Resolved LiteSpeed cache poisoning of personalised API responses by injecting no-store headers on all cart and session endpoints, and configured Django security hardening including HSTS, CSRF protection, secure cookies, and proxy-aware HTTPS detection.
